General Summary/Purpose
Differential Diagnosis invites applicants for the position of Teaching Assistant. The position will be based in America and other countries (On as needed bases)
**IMPORTANT: Telecommuting Available; Multiple Positions Available; Not Benefits Eligible**
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Teaching Assistants will assist their faculty instructor(s) with:
Preparation of coursework materials
Support grading coursework assignments
Facilitation and classroom support of interactions including, though not limited to, small group work and breakout sessions
Provision of targeted participant support by conducting regularly scheduled office hours up to 2 hours per week
Teaching Assistants are required to:
Engage in weekly planning conversations with the faculty instructor
Be present for each course session or portions of the session based on what you have agreed upon with the instructor
Minimum Qualifications
Senior Year Medical Student, MD. Foreign medical students will be considered based on experience and skills.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience in relevant course content area
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Expertise in One of the Following Subject Areas:
Basic Science Subjects (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Pathophysiology, Neurology, Behavioral Science)
Clinical Subjects: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Ob/Gyn, Psychiatry
Classified Title: Teaching Assistant
